Sara Sepehri is a PhD student at Invitro Toxicology and Dermatocosmetology (IVTD), VUB, Brussels, with a background in pharmacy (UCLouvain, Brussels) and cosmetic science (LJMU, Liverpool). During her years of pharmacy study, she worked in the endocrinology research laboratory with laboratory animals investigating the role of specific group of chemicals called “Glucokinase activator” in diabetes.
At Liverpool John Moores University, she wrote her thesis in the chemoinformatics research group about the mechanistic of neurotoxicity starting at mitochondrial dysfunction within the AOP framework.
